Do you like the look and size of the Macbook Air? It’s just so sleek. So slim but yet still so power packed. It’s great, right? But what about Mac OS? It’s a great operating system, but not for everyone. What if you want the slender silver body of the MacBook, but need the compatibility of the Windows operating system? Don’t worry. Your prayers have very nearly been answered. Meet the Dell XPS 13 2015 Edition, a laptop so sleek that they actually fit a 13″ screen into the body of an 11″ laptop. And with the carbon fiber and aluminum chassis, what an amazing body it is. Check it out.:
The Dell XPS 13
Okay, so we can tell from the pictures just how slim this laptop computer really is. But that’s not the only amazing feature of this notebook. Look how thin the bezels are. And, fancy name aside, it really does have some of the thinnest bezels ever. Point blank, period. It’s virtually borderless and it’s using technology that Dell is calling an “Infinity Display.” This Infinity Display is available in an UltraSharp Quad HD+ 3200 x 1800 resolution. It’s available with an IGZO 2 IPS touch screen panel, too. And as we well know, Windows 10 works very well with touchscreen displays. While you’re at it, throw in the latest 5th gen Intel Core processor, an optional Solid State Drive, and a battery that’s advertised to last 11+ hours. It falls short, of course, but there is an alternative. Get their optional power boosting “Power Companion” and you can double the battery life. The Dell XPS 13 is constructed from machined aluminum, precision-cut from a single block of aluminum just like Apple’s MacBook line of laptops. This makes for a highly sturdy, durable chassis. On the flip side, let’s throw some automobile grade carbon fiber on this thing. I mean why not? And that super HD display I told you about earlier? It’s protected by the nearly scratch-proof Gorilla Glass. Stop me whenever you’re convinced at how badass this thing is. Oh, what’s that? I can stop now? Cool.
